Multi-agent system
One term from the glossary, defined on its own page: what it means to anyone who meets it, and how we use it.
In short
A multi-agent system is one in which several AI agents act inside a shared environment, each deciding its own next step, with no single program running them as stages. They may cooperate, negotiate, or compete; what makes it a system is that the behaviour comes from the interaction, not from any one agent.
In practice
What it means for a business.
