Speed to lead

One term from the glossary, defined on its own page: what it means to anyone who meets it, and how we use it.

In short

Speed to lead is the time between a new enquiry arriving and the business giving its first useful answer, and it decides which firm gets the conversation while the prospect is still deciding. It measures the first reply that answers something, not an acknowledgement, so an automatic receipt email does not stop the clock.

In practice

What it means for a business.

Most enquiries go to whoever answers first, so we treat response time as something the design of first contact settles, never a target a team has to chase.

Thirty minutes. A clear plan.

Thirty minutes on the question that brought you here, answered against your own figures rather than ours.

Pick a time straight from the diary. If you would rather write first, email us and a person replies, usually the same working day.
